Manages the general accounting operations of Accounts Payable (A/P), Fixed Assets (FA), Financial Planning, Cost Management (CM), General Ledger (G/L), and Financial Reporting (FR) business processes. Prepares the financial reports issued to the parent company, company management, and government agencies and trading partners under the direction of the CFO, ensures compliance with US GAAP, tax laws and parent company financial reporting requirements. Responsible for on-going maintenance and remediation of internal controls to ensure accuracy of company's financial reporting and safeguarding of assets.
Ten to 15 (10 - 15) years of General Accounting experience with a minimum of two (5) years in a leadership role. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited University and a current CPA is required. Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), as well as any database application used for reporting, and able to operate 10-key by touch. Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated, excellent analytical skills, and be detail-oriented. Must be extremely organized and able to handle multiple projects at one time. Must have strong understanding of GAAP and top-tier ERP experience.
